But in a pinch, there are 3 things you can do now to help improve your website content. ⁠ ⁠ 1) Make sure all content is relevant and up-to-date.⁠ If your website shows products or services you no longer offer, or gives the business address you moved out of three months ago, it doesn’t give the greatest impression. Having current and relevant info on your website shows your prospective client that you value their time.⁠ ⁠ 2) Proofread, proofread, proofread⁠ Even if you don’t feel super confident in your proofreading skills, it’s worth taking the time to make sure nothing obvious jumps out at you. You don’t need to make it flawless, but it should make sense to a visitor. You can try reading your web content aloud as an added tool to help catch web content mistakes.⁠ ⁠ 3) Inject some personality into your web content⁠ Some creative entrepreneurs take content inspiration from other business sites they’ve visited. Or maybe they don’t think that they CAN show their unique personality on a business website. But have no fear! You can make a few simple tweaks to help your web content feel more authentic to your personality and voice. Do you find that you’re better at certain creati Do you find that you’re better at certain creative tasks depending on the time of day?⁠ ⁠⁠ Here's how my day tends to break down in terms of creative energy:⁠ ⁠ ⌲Early to mid-morning (post-coffee!): Original writing. This can include creative writing, blog posts, or website content.⁠ ⌲Late morning: I’m still in Writing Mode, but I notice my energy getting a little calmer. Here, I also start to feel most creative with secondary, personal interests like photography or web design.⁠ ⌲Early to mid-afternoon: Creative tasks that lean to the analytical side, such as content/photo editing, or more straightforward writing tasks.⁠ ⌲Late afternoon: My creative energy is waning! This is the best time of the day for me to do things like project research, or gathering ideas. ⁠ ⁠ Of course, it's not always realistic to think I can move every task around to please my creativity.
